TeachersAndFamilies.com was created by The Source for Learning, Inc., a not-for-profit learning and technologies corporation established in 1979. While SFL's efforts were originally devoted to the use of instructional television, it launched its first Internet service for education, TeachersFirst.com in April, 1998. TeachersFirst.com has become an effective tool for K-12 teachers in their incorporation of Internet resources into the curriculum.
